Jack Daniel attended a speech by Theodore Roosevelt in Nashville in 1907 and later planned a commemorative bottle intended for a future inauguration. The project was not completed after Roosevelt did not seek reelection in 1908. The concept was later revived in 1984, marking the 80th anniversary of Roosevelt’s first inauguration, with the release of a 1.75L decanter. A 1.5L version was also produced for international markets.
