Jack Daniel established the White Rabbit and Red Dog saloons in Lynchburg in 1892 and organized the Silver Cornet Band, composed of local community members, to help attract visitors to the town square. The group performed together for approximately two decades and continued even after the distillery closed during Prohibition. In recognition of this connection to music, a commemorative 1.75L bottle was released in 1986.
