This straight bourbon whiskey was named after Joseph Washington Dant, a Kentucky distiller during the 1830s who supposedly created a still out of a hollowed out tree trunk.  It's distilled using a sour mash process and bottled by the Heaven Hill-owned Dant Distillery Company in Bardstown, Kentucky. The aroma is rich and sweet with pops of banana, citrus, peach and smoked vanilla. With a creamy palate with a slight salinity; the citrus and oak stay the main focus.
