A.H. Hirsch Reserve 16 Year Old Blue Wax straight bourbon is an exceptionally rare find, making it a must-have for any serious whiskey collector! This limited edition bourbon was crafted from just 400 barrels, resulting in a mere 4,244 cases produced worldwide. It was originally distilled in 1974 at the now-defunct Michter’s distillery in Pennsylvania. Created by Master Distiller Dick Stoll from a secret mash bill estimated to consist of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, this highly sought-after bourbon boasts a barrel strength of 91.6 proof. 

The Hirsch Reserve Blue Wax 16 Year presents an aroma richly characterized by warm oak and wild honeysuckle, layered over subtle spices. The palate is treated to flowing notes of caramel and cinnamon spice, complemented by cardamom seeds and lingering hints of aged oak.
