Highland Park 'Dark Origins' Single Malt Scotch

Highland Park, Scotland’s northernmost whisky distillery, is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands and traces its origins to late 18th-century folklore surrounding illicit distiller Magnus Eunson. Highland Park Dark Origins is a non-age-statement single malt inspired by this history. Bottled at 46.8% ABV and non-chill filtered, it is distilled and matured entirely in Orkney and uses approximately twice the proportion of first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks found in the distillery’s 12 Year Old expression.

The whisky offers notes of dark chocolate, berries, toffee, black tea, raspberry jam and gentle peat smoke, leading to a long, drying finish and a sweeter, fruitier profile.
