In 2018, Orkney's Highland Park distillery introduced a trio of bottlings for the Travel Retail market, named after creatures significant in Viking lore. One of these expressions is the Loyalty of the Wolf, a 14-year-old single malt drawn from sherry-seasoned American oak casks.

This whisky offers a nose of toasted bread with marmalade, red apple, and punchy peat hints. The palate features barley, thyme honey, more marmalade, and lingering smoke with a touch of Christmas spices adding warmth. The finish brings notes of pecan, dry peat, and cinnamon sticks.
