High West Bourye 2017 Release (Batch 17L21) is a limited blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskeys sourced from MGP in Indiana, aged between 10 and 14 years. Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), it combines a bourbon mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley with rye mash bills of 95% rye, 5% malted barley, and 53% rye, 37% corn, 10% malted barley. The whiskey shows aromas of baking spice, gingerbread, and candied nuts, with flavors of apricot, brown sugar, molasses, and rye spice, finishing long with oak, clove, and burnt sugar.
