Gordon & Macphail 'Connoisseurs Choice' Caol Isla 31 Year Single Malt Scotch (Distilled in 1988)

This 31-year-old Caol Ila single malt, bottled at 49.4% by Gordon & MacPhail, was matured in both American Hogshead and refill sherry casks. Part of the Connoisseurs Choice series, it offers aromas of sweet baked apples and dried tobacco, followed by a full palate of malted cereal, bonfire embers, and subtle mint. The finish is short, with soft smoke and licorice. Bottled in January 2020 after 31 years of maturation.
