Glengoyne 15 Year Single Malt Scotch (2015 Release, Special Bottling)

Founded in 1833, Glengoyne Distillery has operated continuously just north of Glasgow, uniquely producing Highland single malt whisky that matures in the Lowlands. Straddling the Highland Line, its stills sit in the Highlands while the casks age across the road in the Lowlands. Known for its unpeated style, Glengoyne uses warm air—rather than peat smoke—to dry its barley. This 15-year-old expression was specially bottled in October 2015.
