E.H. Taylor Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon (2025 Release)

The 2025 E.H. Taylor Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon marks the first time an E.H. Taylor whiskey has ever been included in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, making it the collection’s first new addition in nearly twenty years. Its debut celebrates the 25th anniversary of BTAC and honors Colonel E.H. Taylor, the historic figure who modernized the O.F.C. Distillery—now Buffalo Trace—and helped shape American whiskey standards, most notably through the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act.

The whiskey itself is aged 15 years and 4 months in Buffalo Trace’s warehouses and bottled at 100 proof to meet Bottled-in-Bond requirements. It is crafted from Buffalo Trace’s sour mash recipe and opens with warm vanilla, seasoned oak, charred undertones, and maple sweetness on the nose. The palate balances gentle sweetness with baking spices and soft wood notes, leading into a lingering finish of oak, vanilla, soft caramel, and a hint of cherry. Bearing Colonel Taylor’s signature, this release continues the legacy of quality and integrity he established.
