Compass Box 'Tobias & The Angel' Blended Scotch

Compass Box has long admired the whiskies of Clynelish and Caol Ila Distilleries, recognizing their ability to complement each other since the release of their first malt blend, ELEUTHERA, in 2002. For the label artwork of Tobias & The Angel, they drew inspiration from a 15th-century Renaissance painting by Andrea del Verrocchio’s studio, with contributions from Leonardo da Vinci. The painting’s symbolism of the naïve boy and divine angel reflects the blend of Caol Ila's smoky character and Clynelish's fruity complexity. This rare, precious whisky is bottled at 47.6%, non-chill-filtered, with natural color, and offers aromas of bonfires under herbal and fruity notes, thanks to extended maturation.
