Chicken Cock 160th Anniversary 8 Year Single Barrel Straight Bourbon

Released in honor of the distillery’s 160th anniversary, this limited-edition eight-year-old bourbon was drawn from just 30 hand-selected barrels. Distilled in 2008 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and aged and bottled in Owensboro, Kentucky, it follows a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. Bottled one barrel at a time in a revived Prohibition-era style, it was matured in barrels with #4 char on the staves and #2 char on the heads.
