Catoctin Creek 'Kings Mountain' American Malt Whisky

Catoctin Creek Distillery in Purcellville, Virginia, partnered with nearby Heritage Brewing in Manassas to create their first-ever malt whiskey. This limited-edition, single-barrel whiskey was distilled from Heritage’s Kings Mountain Scotch Ale, which had been aged in the distillery’s used barrels. Aged for at least one year in a new, charred American oak cask, this whiskey is made from 100% malted barley, mashed, distilled, and aged in the US. Only 344 bottles were produced, with each batch matured in casks no larger than 700L.
