Castle & Key Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (Batch 1)

In 1887, Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. built the Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, KY, a landmark that became the birthplace of bourbon tourism. Closed during Prohibition and left in ruin for decades, it was revived in 2014 when the property was purchased and restored as Castle & Key. After years producing contract distillations, vodkas, gins, and rye, the distillery released its first bourbon in 2022. This wheated bourbon, aged five years and bottled from 49 barrels, reflects Castle & Key’s return to bourbon-making with a balanced, approachable style.
