Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Barrel #183 is a 375ml bourbon from the distillery's experimental series exploring how individual variables affect whiskey flavor. This barrel used coarse-grain oak from the top half of the tree, had a #4 char, and was aged for 6 years in a concrete rickhouse. Made with a wheat recipe and bottled at 45% ABV, it’s noted for its smooth, sweet character and was part of a limited series evaluating 192 unique barrel profiles.
