This 30-year-old single malt from Bruichladdich showcases the distillery's revival after being mothballed in 1994. Blended from surviving casks, it is matured entirely in bourbon barrels—half in refill hogsheads and half re-casked into fresh barrels after 20 years. Bottled without added color or chill filtration, it features a sustainable design made from 60% recycled glass. The nose offers notes of coconut, wild gorse flowers, and vanilla, while the palate reveals toasted oak sweetness, light fruits, and a salty Islay tang. The finish presents vibrant sea salt balanced with warm oak, soft vanilla, and sweet coconut.
