WhistlePig The Boss Hog 12th Edition 'Feather & Flame' Rye Whiskey

The Boss Hog XII: Feather & Flame is the twelfth release in WhistlePig’s annual Boss Hog series of single barrel rye whiskies. After initial aging in new American oak, the straight rye whiskey is finished in pulque curado de cacao barrels, a traditional Mexican fermented beverage infused with cacao. The finish adds layers of earthy spice, cacao, and pepper notes to the rye’s bold character. Bottled at barrel proof and released in limited quantities, each bottle features the series’ signature handmade pewter pig topper.
