Balvenie 'Tun 1509' Single Malt Scotch (Batch 8)

The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 8, the final release in the Tun 1509 series, reflects Malt Master David Stewart MBE’s skill in blending rare casks. It combines 18 selected casks—four ex-bourbon barrels, six second-fill sherry butts, five refill puncheons, and three first-fill sherry butts—that matured together for three months in a traditional marrying tun. The whisky features aromas of lemon tart, marmalade, maple syrup, and marzipan, with flavors of toffee, vanilla, honey, toasted oak, ginger, and cinnamon.
