Balvenie DoubleWood 25th Anniversary Edition 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old marked its 25th anniversary with a release highlighting the distillery’s wood-finishing process, developed by Malt Master David Stewart. The whisky is matured for at least 12 years in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks before spending nine months in Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is then transferred to oak tuns for three to four months to allow the individual cask components to marry.
