Ardbeg An Oa Single Malt Scotch

An Oa is a blend of spirit aged in Pedro-Ximenez sherry casks and bourbon barrels, named after the Mull of Oa in the southwest of Islay, which shields the Kildaton coast (home to Ardbeg distillery) from the harsh Atlantic conditions. This expression aims to showcase a more approachable side of Ardbeg single malt, mirroring the roundedness of the Oa peninsula while maintaining the distillery's distinctive style. Introduced in the summer of 2017, An Oa marked the first addition to Ardbeg's core range in over a decade.
