Ardbeg 17 Year Old Committee Release is a limited-edition Islay single malt created to replicate the original 1997 Ardbeg 17 Year Old expression. Originally released after the distillery’s reopening, the whisky was retired in 2004.

Dr. Bill Lumsden recreated the profile using selected casks and bottled the release at 40% ABV to match the original bottling style.
