Tequila Ocho 'Widow Jane Barrel Select' 2022 Tequila Anejo

Tequila Ocho Widow Jane Barrel Select Añejo is an additive-free añejo tequila produced by Tequilera Los Alambiques in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. Released in 2024, it was distilled in 2022 from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from Rancho El Nacimiento and matured for 12 months in recently emptied Widow Jane 10-Year Bourbon barrels. The tequila is bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).

This expression is the second collaboration between Tequila Ocho and Widow Jane, following the 2022 Reposado, and the first in the series to receive a full 12-month añejo maturation. Production follows Tequila Ocho’s traditional methods, including brick-oven cooking, roller mill extraction, open-air fermentation and double distillation in small copper pot stills. The release was limited to 1,300 cases for select U.S. markets.
