The 2021 release of Samuel Adams Utopias, at 28% ABV, was aged on Michigan-grown Balaton cherries, imparting enhanced black cherry and dark fruit flavors with hints of maple and vanilla. For the first time, a portion of the blend was aged in Sauternes French Oak wine casks, adding subtle notes of honeyed apricot and caramel to its rich layers of flavor.
