Eagle Rare 17 Year Bourbon (2020 Release)

Distilled in the spring of 2002 at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Franklin County, Kentucky. Although the label states 17 years, the 2020 release is actually an 18 year and 3 month old bourbon bottled in fall 2020 at 101 proof. Made from a mash bill of Kentucky corn, Minnesota rye, and North Dakota malted barley, it was double distilled and entered new, #4 charred white oak barrels at 125 proof. Aged on the 1st floor of Warehouse P, it experienced a 59% evaporation loss. Chill-filtered before bottling, this release highlights extended aging and traditional sour mash production.
