Comprising 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Lewelling Ranch matured for 20 months in 75% new oak. Deep garnet-purple, it exudes ripe blackcurrants, black raspberries, and kirsch aromas with hints of dried herbs, pencil lead, menthol, and Marmite toast. The full-bodied palate is enveloped in black fruit preserves, textured by velvety tannins. A refreshing quality enhances the delightful, long, and spicy finish.
