2016 Sine Qua Non 'Ratsel' Syrah

Crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes, the 2016 Syrah Ratsel 16 is a blend of 81% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 5% Petite Sirah, 2.5% Grenache, and 4.5% Viognier, fermented with 47% whole cluster. Sourced from vineyards like Eleven Confessions, The Third Twin, Cumulus, and Molly Aida, it aged for approximately 23 months in French oak, 47% new. Displaying a deep garnet-purple hue, this Syrah explodes with aromas of baked plums, black cherries, blackberry compote, licorice, spice cake, and mocha. The palate is big, full-bodied, and opulently fruited, with plush tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with bright fruit and incredible energy. A high-voltage sensation! Production includes 1,791 cases and 600 magnums.
