The 2016 Domaine Antonin Guyon Clos des Chênes is a Premier Cru Pinot Noir from Volnay in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. It is made from hand-harvested grapes, fermented over 20 days in open wooden vats, and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. The wine shows a deep ruby color, aromas of red fruits and peony, and a structured palate with firm tannins and vibrant acidity. It is intended for long aging, with a recommended drinking window extending through 2035.
