2015 Frank Family Vineyards Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

"The Frank Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful showing in this vintage. It begins with inviting aromas of ripe blackberries and cherries woven together with spices, pencil shavings, fresh cut florals, tobacco roasted coffee and hints of loam all soaring from the glass. On the palate this is medium-full with a gorgeous round, polished texture and lovely underlying acidity keeping it fresh and vibrant. It shows remarkable concentration and balance leading up to the long, supple finish. While this is showing remarkably well now, it also looks to have a wonderful future ahead. This is a total success from the winemaking team at Frank Family Vineyards, who have managed to capture the ripe characteristics of the vintage while retaining wonderful balance."
