"Deep, opaque purple with a dark purplish-pink rim. The aroma features notes of damson plum, espresso, and a hint of alcohol. The palate reveals flavors of berry compote and five spice powder. The tannins, although well integrated, seem more pronounced due to the alcoholic warmth. The finish is medium to long, marked by berries and hints of wood spice."  - 93/100 Wine Spectator
