2014 Domaine Francois Raveneau Les Clos

"In many years, I have a hard time deciding whether I prefer the Valmur or the Clos in the Raveneau cellars, but in 2014, the Clos is clearly my favorite. This is a legendary bottle of Chablis in the making in this vintage, as it soars in its aromatic constellation of gorgeously complex, kaleidoscopic minerality, apples, pears, lemon zest, white flowers and a touch of anise as a topnote for the aromatic fireworks. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and seamlessly delineated, with a great core, stunning focus and grip and a very, very long, racy and very mineral finish.
