2014 Domaine Georges Lignier & Fils Chambolle-Musigny

Domaine Georges Lignier, based in Morey-Saint-Denis, produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 16 hectares of vineyards spread over 17 appellations and 50 parcels. The estate, founded by Georges Lignier, is managed since 2008 by his nephew, Benoît Stehly. Its holdings include significant parcels in Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis—the largest share in the vineyard—and Bonnes Mares. Winemaking follows a traditional approach, with later harvests, partial destemming, oak use calibrated by classification, and recent vintages bottled without fining or filtration.
