2013 Andremily Wines 'No.2' Syrah

Andremily's No 2, Jim Binns' second release, is an extraordinary blend of 85% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, and 4% Viognier. With partial whole cluster fermentation and 23 months in 62% new French oak, its inky purple hue introduces a pure bouquet of creme de cassis, pepper, caramelized meat, violets, and lavender. This full-bodied wine exhibits a structured mid-palate, ripe tannins, refreshing acidity, and a persistent finish. Though youthful, it promises greatness with 4-5 years of cellaring, offering enjoyment for the next two decades.
