Colonel E.H. Taylor Straight Rye Whiskey - 2012 Release (Inaugural Release)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Straight Rye Whiskey was introduced by Buffalo Trace Distillery in August 2012 as the fifth release in the E.H. Taylor collection. Produced by the Sazerac-owned distillery, the small-batch rye is made from a mash bill of rye and malted barley with no corn and bottled at 100 proof. The whiskey was released in limited quantities with vintage-style packaging, with Buffalo Trace planning annual batch releases. It joined earlier expressions in the series including Old Fashioned Sour Mash Bourbon, Single Barrel Bourbon, Warehouse C Tornado Surviving Bourbon, and Barrel Proof Bourbon.
