"The 2008 Meursault Charmes 1er Cru has a powerful nose with honeysuckle, beeswax, fennel, hints of acacia coming through with time. I adore the mercurial nature of this Les Charmes - the manner in which it toys with the olfactory senses. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with great intensity on the finish that is very precise.
