Eagle Rare 17 Year Bourbon 2000 Release

Eagle Rare 17 Year Old Bourbon 2006 Release was the seventh edition of the Eagle Rare 17 Year Old included in the annual Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Distilled in 1988 at Buffalo Trace Distillery and released in fall 2006, the bourbon was produced using the distillery’s mash bill #1 and bottled at 45% ABV.

The whiskey was aged for 17 years in new American white oak barrels with a #4 char, primarily stored in Warehouse Q. Bottled from 47 selected barrels, the release was produced in limited quantities. The profile presents aromas of sweet corn, leather, rye spice, charred oak, and toffee, with flavors of vanilla, spice, and subtle smoke.
