Domaine des Comtes Lafon, based in Meursault, is one of Burgundy’s most revered producers of Chardonnay, with vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay, Monthélie, and Montrachet. Shaped by Jules Lafon and later revitalized by Dominique Lafon, the estate reached its peak after ending sharecropping in the 1990s. Organic since 1995 and fully biodynamic since 1998, Comtes Lafon is famed for its grand cru Montrachet and outstanding premier crus.
