"Wonderful, now we are getting somewhere after all the aggression of the previous vintages. The overall impression is that it is solemn, starting with its bright, red, intact color. It is almost as if it had been embalmed for 12 years. And yet only today is it beginning to show its true nature. The aroma has an outstanding complexity as it evolves in the glass continuously for hours. The mineral notes are almost unique, the structure multi-layered to allow each sniff to discover new sensations, from cardamom to ginger, rhubarb to currant, to the usual (and here Roberto would kill me) watermelon scent that wonderfully distinguishes it.
