2000 Real Companhia Velha Quinta das Carvalhas Vintage Port

Produced by Real Companhia Velha, Portugal’s oldest wine company, established in 1756. Sourced from the estate’s vineyards in the Cima Corgo subregion of the Douro Valley, the wine was made using traditional grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. It underwent fermentation in stone lagares with foot-treading and was fortified with grape spirit to preserve natural sugars. The 2000 vintage is known for its firm structure, deep color, and concentrated fruit, and continues to evolve with cellaring.
