2000 Emmanuel Rouget Cros Parantoux

Often compared to his uncle Henri Jayer, Emmanuel Rouget has built an exceptional reputation in Burgundy. Based in Flagey-Echézeaux, he farms the former Jayer family vineyards, crafting coveted Pinot Noir. Rouget's flagship holding lies within Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Cros Parantoux, revived by Jayer in the 1940s and now largely under Rouget’s control, with the balance held by Méo-Camuzet. Overlooking Richebourg Grand Cru, it yields rich, powerful, long-lived wines often deemed Grand Cru in quality.
