First crafted by Jameson’s Master Distiller, Barry Crockett, and has been released in limited quantities annually since 1984. In 2013, following Crockett’s retirement, Irish Distillers launched the highly regarded ‘Barry Crockett Legacy’ in his honor. Brian Nation succeeded him as Master Distiller in 2014 and has continued the prestigious Midleton Very Rare tradition. The whisky, aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks, is individually numbered and signed by the Master Distiller.
