1999 Domaine Gros Frere et Soeur Vosne-Romanee

"Very lovely, plush Vosne Romanee fruit. Very rich for a village wine, with lots of toasty oak. Very user-friendly Burgundy. Rich, perfumed nose. Ripe on the palate. Full body. Just a little hot at the end. But plenty of wine here. It shows well. The wood is quite pronounced though there is good Vosne spice peeking through and the flavors are supple and round. This seems openly commercial in style and should drink well young." Burghound
