1997 Maker's Mark Keeneland Kentucky Straight Bourbon

The 1997 Maker’s Mark Keeneland was the inaugural release in the distillery’s partnership with the Keeneland Association. This 90-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon was bottled in a 1-liter format and is distinguished by its green wax seal and matching label accents, marking the first use of a color other than Maker’s Mark’s traditional red wax.

Produced at the Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, using the brand’s signature wheated mash bill, the release established what would become the annual Keeneland commemorative series. As the first edition in the collection, it remains a significant bottling for Keeneland and Maker’s Mark collectors.
