Jose Cuervo 'Reserva De La Familia' Tequila (1995 First Release, Joel Rendón)

In celebration of Jose Cuervo's 200th anniversary, Joel Rendón created the first of two decades of limited edition boxes. Rendón, a Young Creative Artist’s scholarship recipient and Artist-in-Residence at the Art Institute of Chicago, originally engraved these images on linoleum before printing them on cotton paper. The Reserva de la Familia is a limited-edition, award-winning 100% blue agave extra-añejo tequila, Double Gold Medal winner at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Dark amber in color, it offers aromas of oak, almonds, apples, olives, and cinnamon, with a complex flavor profile of rich oak, toasted almonds, vanilla, and cinnamon, culminating in a velvety finish. Best enjoyed in a tequila flute. (40% ABV-80 proof)
