1996 Chateau de Bel-Air (Slightly Stained Labels)

$49.99

The 1996 Château de Bel-Air Lalande-de-Pomerol is a Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend from a 15-hectare estate with vines averaging 36 years old. Comprising approximately 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, it was grown on gravel and clay soils. Now fully mature, it shows classic tertiary notes like leather, earth, and dried red fruit. A traditional Right Bank wine, it offers a structured, savory profile and is considered a solid, food-friendly example of aged Lalande-de-Pomerol.
