"Ex-cellar bottle tasted blind at the Lynch Bages vertical. This has a lovely, smoky, cigar box nose inflecting the dense blackberry and briary fruit. Good definition. There is superb minerality here. The palate is full-bodied, firm tannins, blackberry, iodine, a touch of liquorice and spice.
