The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky brand established in 1896 by Matthew Gloag & Son and now owned by The Edrington Group. Its blend includes single malts from Edrington’s Highland Park and The Macallan distilleries. The whisky’s emblem features the Red Grouse, Scotland’s national game bird. Notably, a 1989 vintage of The Famous Grouse was distilled and matured entirely in oak before bottling.
