1989 Sandeman Vintage Port

Since George Sandeman branded his first casks in 1805, his name has become legendary in the wine world. Among the first Port houses to specialize in Aged Tawny Ports, Sandeman was shipping rare Tawny as early as the mid-1800s. Centuries of expertise and recent investments have made its Tawny range the most critically acclaimed in the region. Aged in small casks, Tawny undergoes gradual oxidation and esterification, refining its elegance—often called the "queen" to Vintage Port’s "king."
