Vineyard notes: "The vineyards of Château Potensac are located on one of the highest points in the northern Médoc, and extend mainly over limestone subsoil covered with clay and gravel with a high proportion of gravel, a terroir similar to that of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. Managed by the Delon family (Léoville Las Cases) since time immemorial, this renowned cru includes plots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc planted over 75 years ago, producing perfectly ripe, healthy grapes."
