1986 Clos du Val Zinfandel

$39.99

After a two-year search commissioned by John Goelet, winemaker Bernard Portet discovered Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, chosen for its cool nights and terrain. Goelet’s 150-acre purchase became Clos du Val, a family-owned estate focused on balanced, elegant wines since 1972. Its 1972 Cabernet was featured in the Judgement of Paris, and Portet is known for crafting some of Napa’s longest-lived wines.
