Very Very Old Fitzgerald 'Bottled in Bond' 12 Year Bourbon (1981 Vintage)

Very Very Old Fitzgerald was the premium line produced by Stitzel-Weller from the late 1940s to early 1980s, while brands like regular Old Fitzgerald and Weller Special Reserve made up the bulk of production. Originally, the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act prohibited labeling bourbon as “bonded” if aged over 8 years. This changed in 1958, allowing bonded releases aged 10, 12, 15, and 18 years.
